Five Social Media Applications to Make Your Life Easier

Because of changing trends in social media and types of social networks, businesses, churches, and ministries need to stay updated on what new applications are capturing their customers’ attention. This is crucial if they want to continue communicating their brands to customers on the most relevant platforms. Here’s a look at the newest social media apps to watch.

1.  Social Champ

Social Champ is a social media automation tool you can use to schedule all your social media content at once. It has many features like bulk upload, repeat content, recycle, or set time slots to schedule all your content ahead of time. It is a good tool to manage your social media. By using Social Champ, you can schedule or post all your images and content to different social networks in a single tab. This tool can save you time and make your digital marketing efforts much more manageable.

Many social media influencers and managers use a scheduling tool, so they don’t have to be online every single time to post their content. Scheduling is a better option if you want to engage or post on your social media platforms in different time zones.

2. Anchor

The anchor is a new social media app that is like Instagram and Twitter. It allows users to publish content to anyone who follows their feeds. However, it does not allow photos or text to be posted. It is a unique social platform for creating podcasts. You can record and post waves, which are two-minute sound bites (and cannot be pre-recorded) that can be shared on Anchor or other social media platforms like Twitter.

Other Anchor users, or anchors as they are known, can respond with their own waves. The app also has an audio editor that allows anchors to edit audio without the complications attached, giving anchors the ability to record and edit audio with no previous experience required.

3. Swarm

Swarm is a location-sharing social app, although not a new social media app. It allows users to discover new locations while helping people connect with friends. Simply put, if you like sharing your location with friends and would want to make new friends, Swarm is for you.

The app allows users to check in to places, such as restaurants and tracks their locations over time. Swarm is designed like a game to encourage users to explore the real world and meet with friends.

It makes the social in social networking “real.” The app award points for checking in with friends that use Swarm and for checking into new places. Any business that operates a physical location can utilize the app by making sure that their position is searchable and correct, and that Swarm users can check in quickly.

Business owners and ministries should also encourage users to talk about their experiences at the location. You could help users generate content, especially photos and reviews.

4. Lasso

Launched by Facebook, Lasso is a new social media app for the creation and sharing of short videos. It is based on the Chinese app called TikTok and allows users to discover favorite viral videos, search popular hashtags, and follow content creators and influencers. Lasso allows users to shoot a maximum of 15-second videos and overlay it with the music of their choice.

Notably, all profiles and content on Lasso are public, unlike Facebook and Instagram profiles. The app allows you to log on using their Facebook or Instagram and sync with Lasso. Unlike TikTok that has unique filters and augmented reality tools, the app has only slow motion and fast-forward capabilities when making video clips. But people are finding creative ways to use these necessary tools to create awesome videos.

Because Facebook is losing the younger demographic, it comes as no surprise that it is trying to appeal to that same group. This app is a well-constructed app and is throwing off that colorful and playful teen vibe. Churches looking to capture youth for youth ministry programs might consider Lasso.

5. Vero

The app caters to the needs of social media influencers, different types of social media businesses, photographers and videographers. It lets users sort their contacts into three groups: close friends, friends, and acquaintances. You can control who gets to see what on their feeds. Users find this a great benefit because they do not have to filter what to share with their contacts.

The big draw for the app is the fact that it is free of ads. It lists posts chronologically without the influence of an algorithm deciding where, when and how to display user posts.
