Three Things Preachers Could Try to Improve Focus on Message

We all learn from churches, schools, and institutions God has provided us today. In fact, staying around positive people and places will bless you abundantly. Churches and their members must share ideas and thoughts to help leaders and preachers to move even more powerfully. Preachers are not changing or adapting to new technology and methods of delivering the Word of God to reach more members, thus delivering blessings to more people. 2 Timothy 2:15

Spreading the Word of God Through Digital Media

We have come too far in the age of technology where you can have millions of views in just about a fraction of a second. Facebook, YouTube, and artificial intelligence have made the human brain so complex and relaxed that we can not deny that digital media have become a vital part of our daily lives. All leaders should understand the need to walk one step ahead to lead the congregation into the right directions. People’s lives are no longer the same as they were 10 years ago. We can not push somebody without his or her will to come to Jesus or visit prayer meetings. Even Jesus said, “I knock on the door and whoever opens the door I will come in.” Revelation 3:20.

The point I want to highlight here is that we need to educate people at the places where they love to listen to the Gospel, not where we want them to come! I am not saying to close church buildings or that people should attend only prayer meetings. We must offer them a choice. We must take the Gospel of our Lord to every corner of the earth by using our available tools to spread the truth.

Preaching Where the Congregation Needs Help

I have seen so many pastors, evangelists, Bible teachers preaching the Word of God without undergoing classes of those teachings themselves. We must preach what we practice, leaders lead by example. Preachers are unable to do that because they sometimes fail to dig deeper into Spirit and understand His Holy teachings. How can you preach revelations when you do not understand the nature of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the Trinity (“one God in three Divine Persons”). These days people need day-to-day help in seeing change or transformation in their lives. Mostly, preachers are focusing on physical healings and ignoring eternal healing, which comes from the redemption of Christ Jesus (Our Lord). Preaching principles of the Holy Bible is something we should deliver, but teaching how those principles are going to work today is even, more important.

Harmony Between Preaching Elders and Management Elders

Churches run on two main pillars of elders — those who preach and those who manage. We have to have harmony between these two executive posts in churches to ensure a smooth running of all operations. But we have seen many church leaders trying to do everything due to small budgets and few volunteers to help. You should stick to your specific area of experts. You are not a specialist is all areas of running a church and its congregation. If you are called to be bible teacher, then you must teach doctrines. If you are called to be a worshiper or choir leader, then focus on singing. Working in harmony with the talents of your staff members and flock is so important. When you rely on what others do best, the Body of Christ becomes whole. We are many parts but one body. God’s message is told worldwide as a result.
