Isaiah 41:10
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”
Fear is a relentless force that seeks to undermine our faith, but Isaiah 41:10 offers a powerful reminder that we are not alone. God’s promise to strengthen, help, and uphold us is an invitation to reject fear and place our trust in His unwavering love.
Fear always tries to rob us of our trust in our gracious Father’s plans. Trust is a choice that is laid before us daily. We must insist and force ourselves to trust our Father no matter what we see or hear or feel. The fear grip is easily loosened when we trust the Father and His Word without reservations.
If we wait for our circumstances to change before we can trust, then we will be tossed around by our fears. When we let emotions rule us, we become an easy mark for the cut-off, withering branch. Sayings like “I can’t help it” need to be banished from our thought life. We are not subject to fear any longer.
We are not subordinate to our circumstances. We are not measured by our performance but rather we are accredited with Jesus Christ’s perfect performance that provides for us every victory in advance. We are not cursed but rather blessed beyond our wildest dreams.
Our new creation status is begging us to put all our hope and trust in its capacity to bring us through every trial and hardship with spectacular victories. Victories that were orchestrated specifically for us and paid for by our Father’s righteous right hand, Jesus Christ Himself. Our mantra needs to be…
“I am NOT afraid because I know that You are with me”.
“I am NOT fearful because I know You will never leave me nor forsake me”.
“I am NOT dismayed because I trust You completely and I know that You have a perfect plan to deliver me”.
“I will overcome everything that the cut-off withering branch throws at me because of Your tremendous grace, power, and love”. Fear is a false emotion. We can turn the tables on fear by praising our Father every time we begin to feel it. After a while fear and its minions get tired of hearing us praise our Father when it presses in on us. Praising Father for our sure and certain victories before we see them chases fear away and brings Father the glory that He so deserves. Hallelujah!
Father, thank You for delivering me from all fear. I know that You are always with me and I will drive that truth deep within myself daily. I choose to trust You because You are faithful to Your promises. I know that everything You say in Your Word is absolute truth.
I agree with Your excellent perspective without reservation. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus and the old fearful man is crucified and gone forever. I am extremely thankful for Your Grace and Mercy. There is no way that I could have accomplished my new creation status on my own. I will praise you vigorously every time I feel afraid because I know it is deception and NOT reality. I am thankful beyond words. I love You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
