You will find countless opinions about the Christmas season over the Internet. Few will be correct or real. This is not going to be an average article about a Christmas definition. Instead, I am going to pour out my heart about what I think the Christmas meaning is and how we should celebrate the season.
Art of Living for Others
Christmas is a day, the birthday celebration of our Lord Jesus. However, He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings, and he had a role on Earth and heaven from the beginning. Lord Jesus was taken from Mother Mary, but He is not only the son of Mary. But also He is a Son of the living God. God’s purpose of sending His one and only Son to give life to others. Giving His own Son so that every one of us can be saved and live a life we deserve to live.
Jesus does not give us lessons of living our life for oneself, but to giving or sacrificing our lives for others. Christmas day or season must be celebrated by making other people feel special. This does not mean we should sell what we have and give it to the poor or needy. This also does not mean doing anything when you have the ability to donate or sharing blessings with others around you. I plan to go to a local jail before Christmas day where I will preach the Gospel so that prisoners know Jesus more and repent and give their life to Jesus Christ our Lord to get real freedom.
Sharing Divine Joy
Yes, that is right — Divine Joy. Only born-again Christians have Divine Joy that they can share with the world. The birth of Jesus is the gate that all Divine blessings opened, according to the Apostle Paul. He said, “The things no man has ever seen, nor those things that come into the heart of man are those things that the Lord have already prepared for His holy people. Christmas is the season of sharing Divine Joy and Divine blessings with all humanity.
Sign of One Big Family
The purpose of Christmas is to live as one big family who is born-again Christians. They can come together and join hands to sacrifice their own wishes, needs, and desires for humanity so that all people around us can become born-again Christian. Showing Christ as a role model of our character, life and for everything. Christ’s birth in the human body shows that Heavenly Father has a purpose for each of us. He shows us that we are part of one big family where God the Father, takes care of everything through Jesus converting us back into Holy parts of that family that were corrupted in the garden of Eden by Adam and Eve.
Love Each Other
The single most important commandment is to love each other. Jesus said, “If you will love each other, people will know you are my disciples.” So Christmas season is all about loving each other.
