While life coaching has become mainstream over the last decade or so, working with a Christian life coach works slightly differently, in that the coach will approach coaching from a biblical perspective.
The benefit of this is that as you change, you do so within a biblical way of thinking, ensuring your path stays focussed on godly change.
This helps us to know we remain in the will of God, and yet still get to grow in ways that God would desire us to.
So many of us end up stuck in life when we don’t need to. Imagine a “new you”, living the desires of your heart and walking in God’s path. Working with a Christian life coach can enable you to:
1. Understand who you are in Christ
2. Slay the untruths that plague your mind
3. Fulfill the good works that have been created for you in advance by God
4. Equip you with a more positive outlook as a child of God
5. Know God as he intends
6. Know God’s plans for you
7. Hear God better
9. Be a person of action, not just words
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
The Christian walk can be difficult and having someone to journey with you through some of those more difficult times and decisions can be beneficial.
Christian life coaching means using the word of God as the basis for our beliefs, our actions, and ultimately our lives. As a child of God, you should step into the promises made by God to you, and live as God wants you to live. It won’t be the coaching that changes your life, but the power of God, as used through the coaching.
You may have tried to change before, but either done it without seeking the Lord or even done it in your own strength rather than in the strength of God. Let a Christian coach help you to discover the difference.
